This all-time favorite makes an attractive shelf plant or bench edging, and looks well combined with ivy-leaved geraniums, lobelia, or low growing ageratum or candytuft in a hanging basket.

The equal thirds mixture of garden soil, loam, peatmoss; bright light or full sun; good air circulation; and evenly moist but not soggy soil are the simple requirements.
