Rich, colorful foliage furnishes a riot of color: combinations of red-yellow, yellow-green, red-green, and several others. A single plant pinched often as it matures will grow to tremendous size.
Remove flowers whenever they appear so seed will not set on plant.
Coleus is not fussy as to soil, but is susceptible to mealy bug. Plants wilt quickly if soil is not evenly moist.
Propagate by seeds sown in spring (germination two to three weeks in 70 F); or you can root cuttings from mature plants quickly and easily in sand or water.
