Grow at least one of these compact small shrubs with glossy foliage. Showy white lily-scented blossoms are followed by red fruit. Ideal for greenhouse culture as it likes good light and plenty of fresh air; bright sun is not harmful. Use a loamy soil with well-rotted manure and peat or humus added in equal thirds.

Keep evenly moist, insure good drainage, and mist the foliage frequently high humidity is often the means of promoting bud formation. Water sparingly when plant is resting. Propagate by cuttings.
