Amomum Cardamon (Spicy Ginger-Plant)

A very large foliage plant worth the space it takes if you are fond of a spicy aroma. The dark green bamboo-like foliage emits the scent when crushed or rubbed. Rich soil, protection from strong sun, and abundant moisture are needed.

Sometimes these plants appear to have stopped growing in this semi-dormant stage, don't dry them out completely, but water sparingly until activity is again apparent.
