An evergreen climber with whorled waxy leaves, but it can be handled as a pot plant of convenient size if it is pruned. Grow in an all-purpose medium kept moist and fed twice monthly from April to September.
Flowers appear from June to September; after flowering, keep plant almost dry from October to March. Prune to the desired size early in February.
Propagate by cuttings with at least two joints any-time February to April; root in sand or vermiculite at 75-80 F, humid and shaded.
